Teresa Gil
Teresa Gil is a reference point for the cuisine of Navarre, both within and without the borders of the Autonomous Community. In just one decade she has managed to make a place for herself alongside the most prestigious chefs on the national and international scene.
She currently balances her work as head chef of the Don Pablo restaurant in Pamplona with her teaching duties. In recent years she has also been invited to speak at prestigious gastronomic conferences.
Her brilliant work at the head of Don Pablo has brought with it much recognition in the last few years. Thus, having won various awards for her creations in miniature, one of her specialties, last year she was awarded the prize for the “Best Pinchos Bar in Spain” at the renowned “The Best of Gastronomy” convention.
The kitchen at Don Pablo reveals her passion for top quality raw materials, chief amongst them the natural produce of the region, and for avant-garde techniques. Her creativity, skill, and devotion are reflected in each and every one of her inventions, which surprise and delight in equal measure with their playful attitude to texture and taste.
